About Us

Villahiker was born amidst the chaotic 2020 Covid-19 Pandemic in the Garden State, New Jersey by Alex Arredondo and Norma Gallardo.

 

They found themselves quarantined, locked indoors and yearning for sunny escapades. Stir-crazy and restless, they decided to get out and trail early one morning, stumbling upon the magical world of hiking! With each step, they fell head over heels for nature.

 

Their passion drove them to create "Villahiker," a term used to describe the single day hikers who wish nothing else but to stay active in the outdoors, become one with nature, all the while reducing their stress and anxiety levels. A website dedicated to help everyone improve their health, become sun worshipers, weekend warriors, and adventurers. 

At Villahiker, we believe that hiking it’s not just a hobby; it's a lifestyle!

We are focused on inspiring outdoor lovers to break free from their stressful days, breathe in the fresh air, and realize that adventure is just one hiking boot away. You do not need to be a pro hiker, you need to become a Villahiker, because your health and well-being are valuable!
